Bye bye
Ah well another piece of our heritage is being stripped apart, The cream telephone boxes that are as much a part of Hull's identity as a fishing trawler or William Wilberforce are starting to be removed from the streets, I suppose this had to happen one day as the telephones are no longer owned by Hull city council. And with less and less people using the street phones in favour of mobiles. But it just seems a little sad that something as unique as these boxes are going to be gone.

Isn't there a company that supplies the old London phone boxes as display pieces - maybe they can move North?
Yeh, with everyone having mobiles though, they are a bit redundant.
