And they are looking after us!

I heard yesterday about a case of a man who hung himself, his ex wife whom he had been seperated from for 4 years was still technically his next of kin so the police contacted her to pass back his possessions which were still in their care, these included clothes money etc. AND the bloody rope that he hung himself with.............idiots, they said they were very sorry for any upset they caused. surely they could have checked, they said it shouldnt have been there, damn right it shouldnt, and these people are there to keep us safe, yeah right.

I can save this country billions.

Sometimes the solutions to problems are too simple to see and they are there infront of you all the time.I have a friend who is longtime unemployed/sick/swinging the lead etc etc.
He was last week forced to start a 13 week training course, he hates it, says it is a waste of time and effort. He has to go or he loses his dole, so it got me thinking if this course is as bad as he says (apparently one day was problem solving and they had to read a statement which was "the bus is red" and then the question was....what colour is the bus?)why not employ an army of instructors and make every unemployed person attend these courses every single day just like we have to go to work every single day and if they dont turn up they lose benefits, just as we do as workers (unless you get paid sick) all the genuine unemployed will get help on these courses applying for jobs and updating cv's etc, where as the bone idol and spongers will lose the luxury of staying in bed all day or going to the pub or going to their mates......you get the picture. and how long would it be before they would want to find a job because they are sick of attending these courses. also run them as a 3 shift system and do 6 to 2, 2 to 10 and nights so the little scrotes have a bit of disruption to their social life just as we do.I am serious with this and i think it might work.if anyone goes on sick whilst unemployed just pay them an amount which is lower as is our ssp. This is my latest policy in the election brochure on behalf of the stop being taken for a c**t party.

I can save Hull city council millions.

Ask someone from Hessle if the live in Hull and see what the answer is. They are run by East Riding of yorkshire county council. When it comes to school league tables they are proud to point out that they aren't in Hull. They don't pay any council tax to Hull city council, So, answer me this. Why the f**k are we paying for their bridge?

The royal visit.

So, we were blessed with the prescsnce of our reigning monarch today as she and her hubby visited our fair city. Everything was cleaned, painted, spruced up etc, etc. Also, half the town was closed, roads were blocked, cars were not allowed to park down side streets, police were everywhere in massive numbers (try to find one tomorrow and there wont be any available)All this will have cost money, now dont get me wrong, deep down I am a bit of a royalist. I actually think she does a good job creating interest and bringing in tourists, But until today I have always believed what we are told that the royal family actually create more wealth than they cost us.
I got to thinking, not just the money we pay them each year for them, their families, staff etc. There is also the cost of all the special arrangements and precautions taken every time she visits places, I would guess todays visit has cost the people of Hull at least a few hundred thousand pounds if not into the million pound bracket when you think of all the disruption plus the extra cost of policing and the like and the cost of the searches that have been going on for the last week or so down drains amongst other places, lets say she does 100 visits to cities and towns a year and multiply this money by that number and we start to see what an obscene amount of money is spent on one family.

Poor lad

James was back playing rugby today after a lay off of a couple of weeks due to bad weather/waterlogged pitches etc. anyway, he started off really well, running the ball in hard and tqckling fiercely. His stride was broken after a few minutes when he went in for one tackle and took an accidental stray boot to the eye lid. He was brought off for a while til he recovered. When he went back on he was head highed by a lad who goes to school with him and who he used to play with at sullys a while ago, this lad likes to act hard but is really nothing and james is just not scared of him one bit, the lad also ran in 4th man on james and hit him proving how hard he is.......not. with just less than 10 minutes to go James had gone for a tackle and somehow was left on the floor on his own, as daft lad ran by him he kicked James in the ribs, as James was getting up the ref sin binned daft lad and then turned to James and sin binned him for fighting!!!! so I have told him, when they play them next give him a good crack as he walks past him to show him who he is but make sure the ref isnt watching

Yet another pearler from big Trev.

I went around to Maureen and Trevor's today, whilst I was there the news was on. When it came to the story about the yank plane crashing I just happened to say (have I mentioned I don't like yanks, lol)Wasn't it a pity that it never did a damn busters and bounced into every house in the village killing the lot of them. Trevor said thats not nice no matter how much you hate them they don't deserve that, I hate the Muslims but I wouldn't wish that on them.
You hate Muslims? I said to him, when you were at Hazlewoods wasn't your best mate one? He wasn't a Muslim says Trev......he was an Iraqi!!!!!! enough said.

ok so I know all Iraqis aren't Muslims but really. he isn't a Muslim he is an iraqi, is a bit funny I suppose

Gareths Party

A good night seemed to be had by all and Gareth certainly indulged a little in the local delicacies sold over the bar at The Skippers Tavern. He was "a little tired and emotional", which I believe is the way to describe someone pissed out of their brains.
He woke up the next morning with no hangover to talk about and even had some breakfast, we then went to the Polish restaurant we like for our Sunday lunch and everyone seemed to enjoy that too.

An easy buck

Today, I have witnessed what I (and most people) have believed for a long time. I saw 2 policemen hiding behind a hedge on Beverley Road, jumping out the minute a car appeared which was driving in the bus lane, The result? some poor sod gets points on his licence and the police rake in a few more quid from the fine. This sort of policing doesn't take much and it gets results, However, I then spotted this afternoon, 2 teenage arseholes riding on a motorbike (a big powerful one)probably nicked, on a path with no helmets on. they shot across the road on a pelican crossing right next to Bransholme police station just at the same time as TWO police cars were waiting for the lights to change and these cars were on differing sides of the lights, what did they do? nothing, never even gave the bike a second look, even when they almost ran the school kids over who were using the crossing, why? cos it would have meant they had to do a bit of work and chase the bike, maybe missing their cuppa maybe, it makes me sick

PARTY TIME

Gareth is 21 on Sunday 1st February. We were going to have a party in a pub but he didnt want one, so we were going to just take him out for a meal, anyway, we have decided to have a good old fashioned party at ours for him, you know, the sort that mam and dad used to have when I was a lad, anyway, everyone welcome, Saturday evening 31st january from about 7 30ish all are welcome.

The new Micky Vella

The best prop in the Hull KR team by a long shot is the awesome Mick Vella, He will run at people all day long and does more than his fair share in defence as well. James is doing his best to replicate him right now at sullys, his under 14 side. He has in the last few games come on in leaps and bounds and last weekends game, although only against a Cottingham team that hasnt won all season was by far the best he has ever played. He is still a little bit upset that he hasnt scored a try this season but i have told him, he is doing all the hard work in the middle of the park for others to do the flashy stuff and run in the trys.At one point in the game he did 4 tackles in a row and all from square marker, which is by no means easy. He isnt winning man of the match awards but again, he is doing the donkey work that doesnt get noticed, and I assured him that when Hull and Rovers scouts come looking at youth games, they know what they are looking at and if he is any good they will notice him. This time last year his confidence was rock bottom and his ability was more or less nil because of this. but now, I think im not dreaming too much if I say He could quite easily bag a scholarship with one of the pro teams for next season. keep it up lad, you might get your dream and play for Hull (or Rovers) yet.
