Yesterday for the first time this season Rovers actually managed to kill a team off and for the first time in a long time we put in a decent performance after the performances of late, which have been to be honest......shit.
But what has upset me about yesterday and spoilt it a little bit was the comment by Justin Morgan afterwards that Michael Dobson was the best number 7 in the city, Now to me this seemed like a direct swipe at James Webster who has just signed for Dull fc. I like most Rovers fans will hope that webbo does well in his future career and I will even applaud him when he takes to the field on Sunday, I think we owe him that much after what he did for us.I dont know why Morgan had to pass a comment like that after all it was Rovers who got rid of Webbo and not the other way around. I hope Webbo can let this remark go over his head it did seem a little nasty to me and I cant see why Morgan wants to slag Webbo off like that.

I honestly think he didn't think what he had said. Lets face it the bloke has verbal diarrhoea! I hope Webbo does a good job for us, we need a proper scrum half on the pitch never mind looking bonny on the treatment table!
BTW I'm hearing a lot of buzz about your favourite player and mine getting the boot from Rovers. You heard out?
i heard a few rumours, one was that all the team went to a function on wednesday in hessle and he was pissed up all day and went to the function in his CAR when he came to leave, vella, took his keys off him and told him he was an idiot, other one was that he was ssent home from training on thursday after failing a breathaliser and was told he isnt playing at the weekend (however he is in the squad) and i heard today he has been sacked. I am not listening to any of these as the rumours have been flying about cooky before every derby game and i put it down to mischief making.
I've heard the one about him turning up to training a bit the worse for wear, and one about a bit of a set to with Stanley. He was supposed to have told him to pull his finger out and was and a bit of a racist retort came back. I know we have this every derby game since he left but it's the 1st time all the comments have been taken off the Hull daily mail sports site.
We'll see tomorrow!
Well I wont gloat about the win, as with being married to a Red for 26 years you learn to keep your gob shut, but it looks like there is something too the Cooke story doesn't it? Let me just point out this: note how quiet the media have been about this story. Not a peep on Radio Humberside and even all the comments where disabled on the HDM site. Bit of a contrast from when Cooke buggered off from us right b4 an important game isn't it?? And people wonder why we lost the plot about it at the time!
we were terrible today, only good thing to come out of it was the cooky no show!! it was good to see that on both sides the players that really shone were the young kids and the local lads, young briscoe is gonna be a good un and welham and i'anson look like good finds for us, i also heard a little rumour today that jake webster has also been suspended for a little to much drinking but not sure about that one yet.
I haven't heard anything about Jake Webster must admit. I have heard that Wakey are interested though. Talking of local lads, in our 17 today there was 10 Hull born players.
Not bad eh?
*Interested in Cookie that is, not Webbo
