In a manner which only my mother could have pulled off I would like to say........summer rugby be buggered.
Today was the first derby game of the season and it was played in the most attrotious conditions that I can remember at a sporting event for years.
Rovers won the game by 11 points to 10 but that was only to be expected and the score was a foregone conclusion, however the weather was so bad that in the after match interviews, Dull fc head coach Peter Sharp said that apart from 2 of his players picking up injuries he also had 2 players suffering from hyperthermia.
It was so funny to see the south sea islander stanley gene trying to deal with the cold, I think winter to them means temperatures of about 20 degrees!!

What are you talking about, a forgone conclusion?? You only beat us by 1 bloody point!
that was because of the conditions. if it had been decent conditions do you really think you would have stood a chance?
A lot of Rovers fans are getting a tad over confident methinks. Superleague has a habit of biting you in the arse you know. It's happening to us now!
