The wheels on my house go round and round
Last weekend we went camping to Burton Constable campsite, I was really suprised at the size of the place as a small field was all i was expecting. The site is like a lot we have stayed on in Cornwall and has the biggest fishing lake I have ever seen. It was the first time we have used our new tent which we purchased off Ebay and it was bloody massive. Anyway, we went with my nephew Kevin and all his clan, they were staying in thier caravan and I said to Tracy, I think its time we thought about moving from a tent to a caravan, On Tuesday evening we went to view one and bought it there and then, so we are now fully fledged members of the pikey community!! Our new "van" cost us £1700 and is immaculately clean, it also comes with a giant awning which is bigger than the caravan and has two sleeping pods attached to the outside, so with the 4 berth caravan plus 2 pods we should be able to sleep 8 at least and of course there is also room in the awning as well! we are hoping to try it out in the next couple of weeks, I am going for a tow bar for the car on monday and we will get a few things together that we need then its no stopping us.

Hook Line And Sinker.
when i was a kid i loved to go fishing, i spent nearly every day sat by some water or other drowning maggots!! well, last year i acquired 3 rods and a little bit of tackle (for £20)........didnt ask too many questions!! I got james and Brian a telescopic rod each for christmas a couple of years ago, Brian only went once last year and wasnt too impressed with it but James really enjoyed it and we have started going quite regularly now, we have been going to the fishing lake which was built on bransholme about 8 years ago and it is brilliant, as everything is with me and james it has developed into a little bit of a competition but the little sod is starting to get the better of me, each time he goes he is catching about 5 fish and im only getting two or 3. James went on his own last week and managed to catch 15 which isnt bad when he hasnt been going for long and is still learning, so we might have a budding champion in our midst. I think im going to have to start cheating a little so I can beat him or at the least chuck him in.

one outta two aint bad
We sat down yesterday afternoon for a full afternoon of sport, Hull city had to win and stoke city lose for the dream to happen, city in the premier league for the first time in their 104 year history. Unfortunately it never went to plan and we lost while stoke won, so we now go into the playoffs so we still have a chance, then the big one........the derby game, rovers v hull at Cardiff, a game which in my opinion should be scrapped, why the blooody hell anyone should have to go 250 miles to see a derby (money that's why)anyway we won again, this is starting o get monotonous so come on hull give us a game, surely you must win a derby game soon ha ha ha ha, i remember when we got promoted all the hull fans saying ah well at least that is 8 easy points a season. well we have played 6 times since we were promoted and we have won the last 3 and the score so far is played 6 won 4 lost 2.

we will all be living in shit street!!!!
Another one of my mams favourite sayings, "we will all be living in shit street by next week if things carry on like this". Never has that saying been more true!
Diesel is now about 120p a litre give or take a penny or so and expected to go to 150 by the summer, groceries are therefore going up as a result, energy bills are soaring, I heard yesterday if your car is older than 7 years old it could cost an extra £240 to tax from next year. WELCOME TO RUSSIA COMRADE. we will soon be seeing queues outside grocery shops trying to get scraps of food, and the black market will be rife with bacca cigs booze etc etc, I am no economist and to be honest all I have worried about in the past is how much have we got to last us the month and is it less than what we need to pay out to live for that month, up to now we have just about managed it. before Christmas when we went shopping we spent about 85 to 110 pounds a week at tescos depending on if we needed wash powder and the like on certain weeks but they were the sort of upper and lower levels that we went to, in the last 6 weeks or so we have not yet been below 110 pounds and it is often nearer to 125,and it is only going to get worse. The french wouldnt stand for this they would be rioting and demanding action but what do we do? bugger all except whinge about it thats what.
Did Tony Blair see all this coming and get out at just the right time? or was he just lucky?, all this has not just happened in the last year or so it must be a build up.....OK the oil is an outside thing because it is from abroad but all the rest of the shit we are in must be down to bad management of the countries finances over the last few years, ie credit crunch, interest rates, mortgage fears and the like has Mr Brown been shit on from a great height and does he now wish he had stayed in his previous job, which incidentally was.................................yep that's right, so maybe he deserves all this for his bloody incompetence, like i said I'm not an economist so I don't understand but all I do understand is that we are being shafted at every turn.
Tracy is going to Madrid for a weekend soon to see a Spanish girl who worked as a locum doctor for the surgery last year I have told her to ask what the job market is like for nurses over there, and believe me I'm seriously considering pissing off somewhere because we cant carry on as we are. Last Sunday I put £50 worth of diesel into my car and it never even touched 3/4 on the fuel gauge, ridiculous.
So anyway if your passing shit street drop in and see us we will be at number 6.

HAPPY SAINT GEORGES DAY
I'M BACK...........
You didn't think I would let today pass without commenting on it did you?
no one is more proud to be English than me (even if by some nasty accident on daddies side i am part Scottish)
We are watching this country go to the dogs, inflation, credit crunch, unemployment, immigration, crime, just to name a few things. Anyway I'm still proud to be English and I always will be, I noticed today how more and more radio and TV stations are doing pieces regarding st Georges day, Is this the start of us English fighting back. For so long we have been told we have to be quiet so as not to offend people and I think that at long last we might be starting to realise that we do have a right to be heard, I think we should start to see parades and events springing up over the next few years after all we do celebrate st Patrick's day and as an Englishman this offends me, why should we celebrate someone Else's day and not ours I'm not a bloody paddy (thank god, cant imagine anything worse) bloody independence day rammed down our throats and you know my view on the bastard yanks.
