Christmas shopping.
We have been christmas shopping today, james game was called off so it gave us the chance to spend a day shopping, he went to his friends for the day and played on sledges and the playstation and Brian has gone to york for the weekend with his "friend" chris. so we took advantage of the freedom and went and spent a bloody fortune, most of it is done now and just little bits remain so for once we are quite organised.

R.I.P GARY
We were woken at 4am this morning by a telephone call from Tracy's mum to tell us that gill's (tracys sister) ex boyfriend and the father of her 2 kids had lost his long fight against cancer. Even though gill had split from gary a few years ago and is now married to someone else they had always stayed pretty close having the children as a common factor, Gill had been doing a lot for gary lately as he was really suffering and apparently she has taken the news really badly, The hard work is going to start now trying to bring the kids to terms with the fact that they no longer have a dad, he was only about a year or two older than me.....makes you think doesnt it.

What a lovely car!!
Took the car for its MOT today, of course it was never going to fail on much cos of the way that i treat it, lovingly and with great care whenever i drive it anywhere! I have been having a slight problem with my headlights since september, basically I havent had any, my high beam works and my side lights work so I have been driving with side lights and fogs, I checked for the fuse but it was fine so I thought it was something more sinister, anyway I booked it in for this repair and the MOT, I gets a call at lunch time to say that the car has sailed through the MOT just needing a new wiper blade which they have fitted........................and oh by the way the reason your lights didnt work was cos the bulbs had blown!!!!!!!! I cant understand how they have both blown at the same time but anyway they are fine now, I did feel a wally though. so thats me sorted for another year.

Right....im back properley now
I havent been on here much lately due to not having much time and not being able to get on the bloody computer cos of kids, so, here is a bit of an update. We had an internment service for dads ashes at chanterlands crematorium when he was put to rest with mam. The thing that seemed so hard to take was the fact that all through my life I have always known dad as someone who always went for the best. if he had a choice of 2 suites one costing £250 and one costing £1000 and they both looked the same he would have gone for the £1000 cos as he used to say, you get what you pay for so this one must have been better quality, it seemed a little hard for me to take knowing this, that he ended up in a plastic jar that resembled a quality street jar, i looked at it and thought is this all hes worth? Martin did a great job of saying a few words as he lowered him in with mam it was very simple but very emotional.
I have decided i am going to go to college and see if i can keep my brain a little active, Allan has got me a prospectus and I am thinking about a health and safety course.
we are starting to think of xmas and are starting to get the kids presents, we have decide to splash out on brian a little this year and get him a laptop as he doesnt get as many treats as what "little shit" does (that is james if no one guessed). James has had a few weeks off rugby after he got a very bad dead leg.....i never realised that a dead leg could be as serious as his was, he was on crutches for 2 and a half weeks and it was only the skill of the physio that got his leg straight again. He had his first game back last week after about 6 weeks, it was against west hull and he got beat 64 0 but as silly as it seems with a score that size in favour of the other team it was the best game i have ever seen him play.
The car is in for the MOT on monday so I dare say thats going to cost me something, Right i will leave it at that for now and will be back in a day or two
