Dad finally passed away sunday night/monday morning after what seemed like a very long time of just existing in the nursing home.
I just want to say thank you for instilling in me values which i hope i will always keep, i.e work hard, look after your family and always stand your corner just to name a few....... but most of all thanks for being able to call you dad for 45 years of my life.

A bit of sense
Story in a National Newspaper : Will we still be the Country of choice and still be Gt Britain if we continue to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that came to live in Britain because it is the Country of Choice?????? Think about it
. . All I have to say is, when will they do something about MY RIGHTS? I celebrate Christmas, but because it isn't celebrated by everyone, we can no longer say Merry Christmas. Now it has to be Season's Greetings. It's not Christmas holiday, it's Winter Break. Isn't it amazing how this winter break ALWAYS occurs over the Christmas holiday? We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone, that I am now being offended. But it seems that no one has a problem with that. This says it all!

Since the terrorist attacks on the 7th of the 7th we have experienced a surge In patriotism by the majorityof Brits. However, the disgust about the attacks hadbarely settled when the 'politically correct! ' crowd began complaining aboutthe possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Britain , Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants. (The Danes, Romans ect.) However, there Are a few things that thoseWho have recently come toour country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of the Brits being aMulticultural communityhas served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Britain 's we Have our own culture, ourown society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak ENGLISH, not Indian, Urdu, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language Therefore, if you wish to become partof our society, learn the language!' Land of Hope & Glory' is our motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented.It is certainly appropriate to display iton the walls of our schools. If GodOffends you, then I suggest youConsider another part of the world as your new home, because God is partOf our culture.If the 'Union Jack' flag offends you, oryou don't like our QUEEN, then youshould seriously consider a moveto another part of this planet. Weare happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we reallydon't care how you did things whereyou came from. This isOUR COUNTRY,our land, and our lifestyle. Holidays
We are at present in Norfolk where we have ventured to try out our new caravan for a full week. I haven't actually got a weeks holiday from work but it is my long weekend (Thursday to Tuesday inclusive) so I took 3 lieu days.....Tuesday, Wednesday for this week and Wednesday for next week so that we could have a week away.
We were slightly disappointed when we arrived because we thought we had booked for the actual holiday village which is called long beach, but we are only on the long beach estate and we are basically in a field. However we have had a great time so far. We went to the Cromer carnival day on Wednesday and saw the Red Arrows perform an air display and then we watched the parade on the night (was very much like our lord mayors parade). yesterday we went onto the Norfolk Broads and spent 5 hours on a boat, James drove for most of the time and did a good job. We then went back to our friends caravan (this is the couple we bought our van off) and had a barbecue. We have today been through to Yarmouth but it isn't the best of towns and is basically like Bridlington and we don't like Brid much!!!!.
We are going to spend a day by the broads again tomorrow and whilst me and James sit and fish Tracy is going to look around the shops in Wroxham, We saw a brilliant barbecue in one of the shops yesterday, It was only £59 but is a gas powered one, it has got a sturdy wooden trolley, two burners and comes with a griddle so we intend to buy it tomorrow and pack it in the boot to bring home so i can build it. The weather so far has been very good, we haven't had much rain (a couple of showers in the last couple of days and a torrential thunder storm today which only lasted 15 minutes or so and apart from this it has been quite bright and sunny, Tracy even got sunburned yesterday and I had to buy a cowboy hat to save my head from burning.

Dirty Bastards
So, according to a Conservative survey, the hospitals in this country are absolutely over ridden with infestations such as rats, mice, maggots etc etc.
How often do you hear people say "it smells like hospital". you used to hear this a lot whenever people smelt disinfectant, but now a hospital smells of.........................................nothing at all.
Well, I have a solution for all the politicians and beurocrats who want to get back to a clean hospital service again. It is such a simple solution and it took all of about 1 second for me to come up with the answer. Let us stop worrying about cost all the time and go for quality, we will all have heard of the saying, you get what you pay for, so why not go for a really radical way of doing things....are you ready?.......Lets kick all the cleaning contract firms out of the hospitals and employ proper cleaners that are assigned to a certain ward and let them keep their own ward clean, you know, like we used to years ago when a hospital smelt of bloody disinfectant and MRSA and C-dif were unheard of and how about another suggestion, lets get the old style matron re instated to run the wards. like I think I have said before not all progress is good. so let us see the people in charge admit they got it wrong and for once put peoples treatment and lives before a budget.

First trip out in our caravan.
We have just enjoyed our first weekend away in our "new" caravan. we only went to burton constable holiday park which is only at sproatley but it was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. I took the van there on thursday as i was working on friday until 6 o clock.When I finished work I came home and picked Tracy and Brian up took them to the van and they just had to walk in as everything was in place and we were only charged £3 for leaving it set up for the night so it made sense to do it that way. whilst they were settling in to our home for the weekend I went back to bilton and picked James up from his rugby training. We took the dog, but to be honest he doesnt really like being chained up so we might not take him again but we had no one to look after him. We were going to come home on sunday because Tracy was at work on monday morning but I said why dont we stay until monday and i will take you to work from here. We came home sunday to pick her work stuff up and also dropped Brian off at home with the dog as he was going to the cinema last night with his friend so he looked after the dog at home and we went back. There isnt a lot at the campsite but it is a brilliant place to relax and the fishing lake is brilliant, me and james sat fishing til about 9 30 sunday night and he has had a rod in the water nearly all the weekend, he has caught 70 something fish over the course of the weekend. The caravan itself is brilliant and it has all the mod cons you need like full cooking facilities, a shower, toilet, hot and cold running water,and a fridge. We had some friends come stay over on Saturday night when we had a few drinks and something to eat (they brought a chilli). There were 7 of us in the van altogether (2 couples in the 2 double beds and 3 kids in the awning, there was ample room. Our next outing is when we take it to Yarmouth for a week, we booked it the other week and it is costing us £126 for a week, at those prices the van will pay for itself in no time.

No need for it Justin
Yesterday for the first time this season Rovers actually managed to kill a team off and for the first time in a long time we put in a decent performance after the performances of late, which have been to be honest......shit.
But what has upset me about yesterday and spoilt it a little bit was the comment by Justin Morgan afterwards that Michael Dobson was the best number 7 in the city, Now to me this seemed like a direct swipe at James Webster who has just signed for Dull fc. I like most Rovers fans will hope that webbo does well in his future career and I will even applaud him when he takes to the field on Sunday, I think we owe him that much after what he did for us.I dont know why Morgan had to pass a comment like that after all it was Rovers who got rid of Webbo and not the other way around. I hope Webbo can let this remark go over his head it did seem a little nasty to me and I cant see why Morgan wants to slag Webbo off like that.

The wheels on my house go round and round
Last weekend we went camping to Burton Constable campsite, I was really suprised at the size of the place as a small field was all i was expecting. The site is like a lot we have stayed on in Cornwall and has the biggest fishing lake I have ever seen. It was the first time we have used our new tent which we purchased off Ebay and it was bloody massive. Anyway, we went with my nephew Kevin and all his clan, they were staying in thier caravan and I said to Tracy, I think its time we thought about moving from a tent to a caravan, On Tuesday evening we went to view one and bought it there and then, so we are now fully fledged members of the pikey community!! Our new "van" cost us £1700 and is immaculately clean, it also comes with a giant awning which is bigger than the caravan and has two sleeping pods attached to the outside, so with the 4 berth caravan plus 2 pods we should be able to sleep 8 at least and of course there is also room in the awning as well! we are hoping to try it out in the next couple of weeks, I am going for a tow bar for the car on monday and we will get a few things together that we need then its no stopping us.
